So, Videogaming247 is reporting that Gary Oldman has confirmed that a Dark Knight game is in the works. No official announcement has been made, but the rumor is that it would be released around the time of the movie’s DVD release later this year.

Presumably if Gary Oldman is confirming it, then he has something to do with it (which would make sense). Gary Oldman kicks some serious ass (think of the Professional and the Fifth Element, for example–many, many other possible examples, of course). I just saw the Dark Knight today and loved it (though the “sonar” thing at the end was a bit questionable). It’s tragic and a shame that Heath Ledger wouldn’t be able to take part in any Dark Knight game (or anything else for that matter): his Joker was brilliant.
