It must be some sort of unofficial “Guitar Hero Day” with all of the announcements today surrounding the music franchise. We got the Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits full set list, received official word about three new games (DJ Hero, Band Hero, and Guitar Hero 5), and now we got a reminder of free music available to download today for Guitar Hero World Tour.

We told you before that the month of May had a strong lineup of music coming. Today kicks off the first of three solid weeks with the free Ferret/Metal Blade Track Pack features “On Broken Glass” by Chimaira, “Dez Moines” by Devil Wears Prada and “Grave of Opportunity” by Unearth.

The free Ferret/Metal Blade Track Pack is now available for Xbox LIVE Marketplace and the PlayStation Store. The three songs are available as free singles for Wii.
