Luke Plunkett, at Kotaku.com, reports on Square Enix’s mini press conference today:

See, they’d like to clarify yesterday’s announcement that [Final Fantasy XIV] was
“exclusive” to the PS3. It’s not. There’ll also be a PC version.
Following that, however, a carefully-worded statement said “in terms of
all other hardware, including Microsoft consoles, we are considering
all other options at this time”.

Whoops. Looks like somebody (Sony, ahem) might have gotten a little carried away. See: Final Fantasy XIV exclusive to PS3

That’s ok, Sony, it’s E3 and you’re all hyped up. It happens. But gamers on other systems would appreciate the truth….
