There will be three editions of Modern Warfare 2 that are released this fall: Standard, Hardened and
Prestige.

The Hardened edition includes a Modern Warfare 2 art book, a steel game case, and a code to download the first Call of Duty game on XBL and PSN. That’s pretty cool, but guess what the Prestige edition has?

Night vision goggles.

The key question you need to ask yourself is, “Am I really going to use the night goggles?” Sure, you’ll feel like a secret agent a few times, but I’m betting you’re not going to break ‘em everyday.

Yeah, night vision googles are cool, but unless you’re a big paintball fanatic and play at night, I’m not convinced you’re going to use them that much. Go with the standard or Hardened editions. The Hardened edition itself will run you $80, so you can bet the Prestige is going to be a lot more than that.
