Madden NFL 10 Goes Gold

NCAA Football 10 has only been out for a couple of days and it’s bigger brother Madden NFL 10 has gone gold with the impending release next month on Friday, August 14. People who want to check out this year’s version will have the opportunity on July 30 in a downloadable demo which features the Dallas Cowboys playing against the New York Giants. The free demo will be available on both Xbox Live and the Playstation Store.

If you reserve a copy at Gamestop then you can play a different demo on July 23. This exclusive demo will include 4 five minute quarters in a Super Bowl XLIII rematch between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals.

This year’s Madden will feature the all new Pro-Tak animation technology that allows players to have more control over the outcome of each play. EA also has redesigned the game from the ground up for the Wii version that features a unique art style but still has the Madden feel.

Be sure to check with your local retailer whether it be Best Buy, Gamestop or Wal-Mart to see if they will be conducting midnight openings for the game. Stayed tuned to see if cover athletes Larry Fitzgerald and Troy Polamalu will succumb to the “Madden Curse“.
