We told you last month about the classic unlockables to be found in G.I. JOE The Rise of COBRA and it seems that EA is not done yet. Those that preorder G.I. JOE The Rise of COBRA will receive a special code to unlock select playable characters in their classic uniform from the original 1980’s G.I. JOE cartoon/toy series.

EA has released a screenshot of the Classic Scarlett model seen above, and will reveal additional classic G.I. JOE characters closer to the game’s launch. G.I. JOE The Rise of COBRA will be available for release in August on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable (PSP) and mobile phones
