Around the world everyone can head to the recently launched G.I. JOE The Rise of Cobra The Game community web site. Fans can share battle strategies and talk about the game on the EA forums, visit the official G.I. JOE The Rise of Cobra movie website, and even sign up for the newsletter to get classified intelligence in real time and their own G.I. Joe or COBRA badge to show their allegiance on Facebook and MySpace. Soon there will be a mini-game to play where you will battle ninjas and defend the G.I. JOE base from COBRA.

Want some top-secret G.I. JOE downloadable content? Operatives who choose to download specific “intel files” from the site will be awarded additional content for download. Let’s not forget that on top of that, gamers that pre-order G.I. JOE The Rise of COBRA will receive a special code to unlock a few
playable characters in their classic uniforms as well as other classic materials from the original 1980’s
G.I. JOE cartoon/toy series.

The game hits stores on August 4th, and will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, PSP as well as mobile phones.
