The Map Pack 3 DLC for Call of Duty: World at War comes out on August 6th. When it does, I want to know the best sniper spots on “Battery,” “Revolution” and “Breach.” You can help me. So, I’m having a contest.

I’m paying for the prize myself, so it has to

be modest. (Sorry. I’m not loaded.) The winner will receive either (but

not both):

2000 Microsoft points (worth $25) OR
a $20 Playstation Network card

(Sorry about the discrepancy, but I did the best I could.)

Here are overhead pictures of the new maps. (Click on the thumbnails to enlarge.)

You will submit, at most, 1 spot that is your favorite sniper spot on one of the maps in Map Pack 3. Now, just because you’ve sold out your favorite spot doesn’t mean it

will become worthless. Maybe other snipers start using it and then you countersnipe that spot!

Write a brief summary (no more than 300 words) of:

the spot (on top of shack, behind a wall,in foliage, etc)
what is visible from it (two doorways to the east, a window to the north,high-traffic hallway, etc.)
whether you are standing, kneeling orlying down to snipe.
and your Bouncing Betty placement, if applicable.

In other words, convince me that it’s a great spot.

2. How to submit:

Download the overhead pics of the maps (available on August 6th) and use an image editor such as Microsoft Paint (or other) to place a small red X on the spot.
Upload the image to PWNordie.com using the PHOTO link at your profile (You must join PWNorDIE.com or login to do this)
Then click on: Upload Other Stuff
Title your submission: “Map Pack 3 contest submission”
Put your summary in the Stuff editor, and follow the rest of the directions on the submission screen.
After all the stuff has been successfully uploaded, send the link to me: Send Pete LeGrant a message
