Gears of War 3 to have a Female Lead?

Developers and designers can be goofy when hyping their unannounced games like playing blackjack for the role of producer. In this case Epic’s Cliffy B. (via Gamepro) said in a 1 vs. 100 LIVE (check out our review) game that Gears of War 3 may have a female lead. Coincidentally in the Gears of War graphic novel there is a female character named Alex.
His answer ,”may or may not”, was no surprise since that game has not even gone official. It would not be a surprise to see Alex at least make an appearance in the next Gears of War.
While they are at it maybe they can find room to put President Obama in Gears
