Left 4 Dead 2 may be bitter sweet in some peoples minds being released only a year after Left 4 Dead. However, that does not mean that Valve has abandoned their zombie killing classic. Valve announced today that new DLC will be coming out for the Xbox 360 (560 MS Points) and PC (Free) in September.
Titled “Crash Course” the latest DLC delivers a new single-player, multiplayer and co-operative gameplay. The campaign will bridge the gap between “No Mercy” and “Death Toll” from the original campaign with new locations, dialogue, and an explosive finale.
“Since the release of Left 4 Dead last November, the design team has been excited about creating new experiences for this world and allowing players to do the same, by releasing much of our internal toolset, like the Survival Pack and Authoring Tools. We’re working with the fans toward the ongoing entertainment value of the product” said Gabe Newell.
Bravo to Valve for supporting Left 4 Dead with updates to fix problems and new campaigns (Shaun of The Left 4 Dead PLEASE). The question remains will they continue to support L4D after Left 4 Dead 2 when it hits store shelves this fall?
