G-Phoria 2009 Award Winners
We gave you the nominees in July for the G-Phoria 2009 Awards and the fans chose their winners. Last night the “G-Phoria 2009″ winners were announced in a special one-hour episode of “X-Play”. Hands down, the biggest winner was “Fallout 3” winning the Game of the Year award as well as top honors for Longest Lasting, Best Voice Acting, Best Soundtrack, Best Role Playing and Best Downloadable Content giving it a whopping total of six wins. This is a big step up from G4’s last award show when Fable 2 beat Fallout 3 for Game of the Year.
“LittleBigPlanet” also received a number of accolades from gaming fans, taking home awards for Best New Character and Most Original Game. Other winners included “Killzone 2” which was voted Best Graphics and the Xbox 360 took home Favorite Console.
