This Fall, gamers will see a couple new peripherals on shelves, and coincidentally (maybe) Activision is behind both. One is DJ Hero’s turntable and the other, as you may have noticed above, is Tony Hawk: RIDE’s motion-sensing skateboard controller.

If you have been wondering when you can get your hands or feet on this new controller, Activision today announced a North American release date of November 17, 2009.

Although this controller has not been without skepticism, Activision seems to be turning the tide on DJ Hero doubts. And considering today’s announcement of Johnny Cash’s inclusion in Guitar Hero 5, the publisher definitely has our attention. We look forward to seeing more on this controller.
