Madden NFL 10 Wii Visuals Revealed

EA has traditionally used a visual approach in Madden for the Wii that does not attempt to simulate and model athletes realistically. Given that the Sony’s PS3 and Microsoft’s Xbox 360 sport more technically-advanced hardware, this is a clever way to provide eye-catching visuals.

Gearing up for this week’s release of Madden NFL 10, EA has revealed the visual style for this year’s Wii iteration. This time around the visuals appear more realistic yet still present a slightly caricatured look. Here’s what EA says about it:

Completely redesigned and built from the ground up, Madden NFL 10 introduces a unique art style that will define the look of sports games on the Wii. Plus, Madden NFL 10 Wii delivers the most social and dynamic experience from the franchise to date. Madden NFL 10 Wii offers an all-new visual style, two new modes—Madden Showdown and Road to the Super Bowl, a co-op feature called Huddle Up and even includes unlockables such as classic modes from Madden NFL 09 (favorites like Franchise and Superstar mode)!

Since the Wii’s release, Madden has used the system’s controls well and we look forward to seeing if it uses the new MotionPlus attachment this year.

Additionally, do not forget about the Sports Illustrated or Micro Center sales on Madden NFL 10, due out this week.
