Like us, you may be wondering how the ‘Golden Boy’ Oscar De La Hoya made it onto the cover of Fight Night Round 3, appeared in commercials for Fight Night Round 4, yet was not in gameplay for the latter.

Well, due in late August, EA is releasing the first downloadable content pack for FNR4, with De La Hoya, Vitali Klitschko, Wladimir Klitschko, and alternate versions of George Foreman and James Toney. In addition to the boxer pack, EA will also be releasing a game update at the end of August. The update will include additional trunks, gloves and shorts, as well as a free button control scheme that will allow gamers to use face buttons on the Xbox 360 and PS3 game controllers to throw punches, hooks, uppercuts and haymakers.

Those getting crushed by their friends in FNR4 can now rest easy, because soon you will be able to button mash like a pro.
