Walmart Teases Wolfenstein Pricing

You may already know about the special deal for Wolfenstein at walmart.com where can get the game on Xbox 360 and PS3 for $54.96 (PC $49.96) along with a $10 eGift Card. You may also know that if you go to Walmart their prices do not always match the website. Today we were told to “check out the pricing action in Walmart stores tomorrow.

When we contacted Walmart’s PR team that sent out the note for clarification, it was made clear that this special pricing is meant to be competitive with not only online retailers but in stores as well.

This lower than expected pricing may become even lower if everyone takes advantage and helps Wolfenstein outsell Madden 2010. And by cheaper, we mean FREE.

It is clear that Walmart is taking gaming more serious with this pricing and their elaborate Madden launch. With talk of increased prices for games its refreshing to see buying incentives from big brands like Walmart and Sports Illustrated.

Wolfenstein is in stores tomorrow.

UPDATE:  The instore price was $54.96
