Wait a minute, I thought EA coined ROCKTOBER? I am seriously confused. Did I not get that memo? Hmm, maybe EA invited Activision? Whatever the case, Activision is celebrating it with a 25% discount on ten of their “favorite” tracks.

Starting September 28th and lasting on October 4th (ROCKTOBER is a week, not a month, duh) these ten tracks will have a discount price:

The Killers – “Mr. Brightside”

Travis Barker – “Low (Travis Barker Remix)”

Blink-182 – “What’s My Age Again”

Rick Springfield – “Jessie’s Girl”

Queen – “We Are The Champions”

Blind Melon – “No Rain”

Ram Jam – “Black Betty”

Nickelback – “Because of You”

Smashing Pumpkins – “1979”

Foreigner – “Hot Blooded”

Seriously Activision, do you really listen to Blink 182, Rick Springfield, Ram Jam, and Nickelback with equal fervor? Maybe I am just wrong for assuming that Activision is a single person, but whatever.

These tracks are available to Guitar Hero 5, Guitar Hero World Tour, and the yet-to-be released Band Hero.
