NERF “N-Strike” Elite Fires Into Retail on October 27th

This fall marks the 40th anniversary of the popular boys’ toy brand NERF, and arriving just in time for the festivities will be NERF “N-Strike” Elite.  What better way to commemorate the many years of “accidentally on purpose” shooting your friends in the eyes with NERF darts and then forcing them not to tell their parents and to stop crying?

This follow up to last years NERF “N-Strike”, one of the best-sellers on the Wii for 2008, is set to release October 27th with loads of new features.  The game will include all-new adventures, missions, NERF blasters and will also come bundled with a newly designed blue NERF SWITCH SHOT EX-3 blaster and attachable decoder lens that helps deliver a blend of covert operation elements with over-the-top blasting missions.  Sweet.

When players have the Wii-remote snapped into the NERF SWITCH SHOT EX-3 blaster and their reveal lens engaged they will be able to detect enemy weak spots, solve puzzles and decode secret messages as they fight their way to victory. The game is a classic rail style shooter and will feature four playable characters, with unique customizable blasters as well as two-player co-op, allowing buddies to immediately jump in and join the fun.
