14 average Joes turned video game heroes

With so many music games, Band Hero seems to be in the shadows of its bigger siblings Guitar Hero 5, DJ Hero, and Guitar Hero: Van Halen. Activision however is confident that this “family oriented” adaptation of the Guitar Hero franchise is going to be successful. With artists such as KT Tunstall, Taylor Swift, and The Jackson 5 among others, Band Hero has undeniable talent.

Also people who own Guitar Hero 5, Guitar Hero: Smash Hits, and Guitar Hero: World Tour can export their songs onto Band Hero for 480 MS Points on Xbox 360, $5.99 on PS3, and 600 Wii points for the Wii.

Looks like our plastic guitars are going to get a lot of use this holiday season. I’m still enjoying The Beatles Rock Band and am eagerly anticipating its first DLC. With so many decisions in the music genre it’s now getting difficult to find the best on the market. If you purchase Band Hero on November 3rd and still want more there is a huge amount of DLC available to purchase.

If you are curious as to what artists are featured we now have the full list featuring the biggest artists of the year.
