David Cage and his company Quantic Dreams‘ upcoming PS3 exclusive Heavy Rain looks good. It looks really good. Cage and his team have obviously been hard at work at making Heavy Rain look real and present a very cinematic feel. Hopefully we do not have to wait much longer for this game, but Quantic Dream is promising a Spring 2010 release.

In the video immediately below, the initial loading screen had me believing I was watching an actual woman blink. The facial detail and animation is absolutely stunning. Just watch it.

In this following video, any other game would have a hard time making a scene with father/ son interaction interesting, but Heavy Rain seems to make it so natural you do not think about it.

Yet another reason to own a PS3.
