Just because Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is still just over a week away does not mean that you need to wait to play something new in the Call of Duty franchise. Probably to pre-empt the series’ newest addition, Activision is discounting the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Variety Map Pack this week until Nov. 8th. Starting today, the pack is selling half-price for 400 MS Points ($5) on Xbox Live and $4.99 on the Playstation Store.

The pack contains the maps “Broadcast,” “Creek,” “Chinatown,” and “Killhouse.” These locations would give you a great place to enjoy another double XP weekend at the end of this week, from Nov. 6th-8th.
