When Fight Night Round 4 first came out there was a lot of expectations going into it. Its predecessor, Fight Night Round 3, raised the bar on boxing games and as a result may have set the bar to high for FNR4. Upon release there were a few complaints with the game; no button controls and missing boxers among other things. EA Sports has adressed the button controls and with some newly announced DLC FNR4 will get some additional boxers. Add that to a price cut to $39.99 and you have a great deal, especially if you want to save money.

With boxers Bernard Hopkins, Sonny Liston, and Evander Holyfield included in the DLC I can’t help but ask myself why these boxers were not included before? But maybe I am asking for too much. With all of that said, the new DLC, priced at 800 MS Points and $9.99 on PSN, will feature two new modes titled “Old School Rules” and “Ring Rivalries”. Old School Rules brings a new take on boxing while Ring Rivalries will set up the greatest match ups in boxing history.

I look forward to pitting Evander Holyfield and Ali against each other this coming holiday season. I just need to come up with the money to do so.
