Halloween Video Game Costume Classic Winner

You may not know it but we have an annual Halloween Video Game Costume Classic. We get a plethora of entries every year since the classic’s start in 1976. In recent years, we have been inspired to provoke and fire gamers’ imaginations by featuring a multitude of video game costume ideas. We are not sure where they got the idea, but the winners in the PWNorDIE Halloween Video Game Costume Classic ‘09 completely deserve the award: they dressed as Billy Mitchell and a Donkey Kong machine.

Billy Mitchell was the long-time high score record holder for Donkey Kong and was featured in the documentary film ‘King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters’. The film followed record contender Steve Wiebe on his journey to challenge Billy Mitchell’s record.

Here are the winners (thank you Jonah Ray on tumblr:

BTW, we do not have an annual costume classic. Ok, cya.
