The newest addition to the rhythm game genre is Activision’s DJ Hero. Many critics are lauding the game’s innovative new style and approach to the genre itself.

To add to the game’s unique and original music library, Activision and Neversoft are releasing the first DLC for the game, which will feature David Guetta remixes of Kelly Rowland, Akon, and will.i.am songs.

DJ Hero David Guetta Mix Pack 01 features the following remixes:

“When Love Takes Over” featuring Kelly Rowland

“Sexy Chick” featuring Akon

“On The Dancefloor” featuring will.i.am and apl.de.ap

DJ Hero Extended Mix Pack 01 features the following mixes:

“All Of Me” by 50 Cent featuring Mary J. Blige vs. “Radio Ga Ga” by Queen

“DARE” by Gorillaz vs. “Can’t Truss It” Performed by Public Enemy

The DJ Hero ‘David Guerra Mix Pack 01″  is now available on the Xbox 360 for 640 MS Points ($8.00) and on Playstation 3 for $7.99. The DJ Hero ‘Extended Mix Pack 01′ is also now available on Xbox 360 for 480 MS Points ($6.00) and on Playstation 3 for $5.99. The remixes in each pack can be downloaded individually on the Wii for 300 Wii Points each.
