Activision is apparently in the giving…thanks…spirit because owners of the game will be treated to a FREE collection of songs written by Neversoft employees themselves. These songs will be in the Neversoft ’Thanks the Fans Track Pack’, which is now available for free on Xbox Live and the Playstation Store. All songs are playable on Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero. Sorry, Wii owners.

All is not lost however, as Wii owners will be able to snag Metallica’s Death Magnetic album, at 200 Wii Points per song. These can be played in Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero and are now available.
