Video games have been getting better and better and recreating real life experiences from the outside world in our living rooms. The Nintendo Wii lets us spend time bowling without having to rent nasty bowling shoes. The steering wheel peripheral lets us take Bentley’s out on the road even if we only have a bus pass. Even Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 lets us kill countless nameless people in nameless locations that are strikingly similar to real warzones.
The skateboard for Tony Hawk RIDE is another one of these ways that takes us closer to reality. In fact this video from our brothers at Tony’s Shred or Die show that this game actually alters reality. Tony brings his kids to work and let them take to the virtual ramp while he puts in work on a board with wheels. Paul “P-Rod” Rodriguez even pops up in this video too.
