Many people were skeptical of UFC 2009 when it was announced last year and were unsure of a market for the game even existing. Fast forward a year and some change and THQ is very confident about their results, enough to now announce a sequel.

The next game will logically be UFC 2010 Undisputed and is scheduled for a May ‘10 release. More details than that have not surfaced, but the world of mixed martial arts gaming will be an interesting one in 2010, as EA Sports’ MMA will be the other title released. Hopefully Dana White does not kill anyone.
