Bethesda Softworks seems to be getting more ambitious every day. At least that is what it looks like on paper.

ZeniMax Media, the parent company of both id Software and Bethesda has picked up the publishing rights to RAGE, id’s newest IP. The publishing rights to RAGE formerly belonged to Electronic Arts but considering ZeniMax’s recent acquisition of id, the publishing rights were logically passed to Bethesda. Bethesda has traditionally published its own games throughout its history, not ZeniMax.

RAGE is a post-apocalyptic shooter, sound familar? You know- Fallout 3, Borderlands? I guess this is the next cool genre. Jokes aside, I think id Software has enough experience to make RAGE more than another “wasteland” shooter.
