Man, the title of this DLC is long.  Now we have  video of  the new ZEN Pinball Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Table.  Anyway, the Playstation Blog says:

It’s been a long time coming but here at ZEN Studios we’ve finally locked down this Thursday, January 14, as the official release date for the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 table, the second expansion table for ZEN Pinball. Fans will be able to pick up the table on the PlayStation Store for only $2.49 USD and $1.99 EURO. And for those who can’t wait to check out the action, you’ll be happy to know that we’ve also included an exclusive sneak peek of the table with the trailer below.

An expansion pack for $2.49 is a pretty good price. Verdict: if you’re already a fan of this game, go the extra mile.

Jack Wall back to compose score for Mass Effect 2

Today Bioware announced that they are reunited with composer, Jack Wall, and that it feels so good. (Ok, I made that last part up.) Wall did the score for the original Mass Effect, and now he’s ready to make your ears oh so happy again.

The two declared their love for each other:

“We are thrilled to again be collaborating with Jack Wall, this time on Mass Effect 2,” said Dr. Ray Muzyka, co-founder, BioWare and Group General Manager of the RPG/MMO Group of EA. “Jack did an outstanding job with the original game and has a firm grasp for our vision of the trilogy. His score for Mass Effect 2 perfectly blends classic sci-fi inspired sounds with unique arrangements to achieve an emotionally charged complement to the dramatic, action-packed gameplay.”

“Working on the Mass Effect franchise has challenged me to create music beyond what I’ve written before,” said composer Jack Wall.”With Mass Effect 2, the story is even more engrossing and affecting, so it was important for me, along with my team of composers Sam Hulick, David Kates, Jimmy Hinson, and music implementation by Brian DiDomenico, to develop a score that complemented the scope and intensity of the gameplay while captivating the players and drawing them deeper into the story.”

Mass Effect 2 drops on January 26th, 2010, and you can buy the soundtrack on the 19th (next week), so can roll around in your Hummer listening to it.

iSamJackson on iPhone

The current climate of iPhone applications is crowded and competitive and for anyone to survive, they will have to their product backed by an idea that is useful and clear to consumers. So naturally, Heatwave Interactive had the idea to make an app featuring Samuel L. Jackson. It is appropriately named iSamJackson. What does it do? It has a customizable soundboard for Sam Jackson quotes, a personality scanner that allows Sam to analyze and retort, and “Ask Sam”  where you can ask for and receive his wisdom. The app comes in two flavors, a family-friendly ‘Clean’ and ’17+ Explicit’ for those that want to experience the sweeping range of Samuel L. Jackson’s class and wit.

I don’t think I need to explain the virtues of this app, because, well, it has Samuel L. Jackson in it. So currently, I am trying to think of which Sam Jackson line to use here. You can now stamp ‘Bad Mother******’ on the outside of your iPhone, though.
