Call of Duty multiplayer just got more robust.
Treyarch says they weren’t satisfied that there were Call of Duty players that have only played single player, completely ignoring the wonderful world of multiplayer. For Call of Duty: Black Ops they have added a new mode called “Combat Training”. In this all new mode, players will be able to play alone or in coop against AI opponents. There will be a separate ranking system for this mode, so no boosting against the dummies on your way to Prestige.
New in the game is the ability to earn currency for various feats. You can then spend that hard earned cash on upgrades or you can play in several different games where you can wager your winnings against other players.
Oh, and the new killstreaks look amazing. For more updates live from the exclusive multiplayer experience, follow us on Twitter @PWN_or_DIE.
