Tonight Infinity Ward revealed another new Modern Warfare 2 trailer called “Infamy” during NBC’s Sunday Night Football matchup of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the San Diego Chargers. This trailer is much different than others and may hit a bit close to home for Americans.

Monster Energy Drink has teamed up with what many consider to be the biggest title of 2009, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, to bring a not new branded drink called “Assault” to gamers. In addition to the branding on the packaging, fans will have the opportunity win prizes from COD:MW 2 and Monster.

Sticky grenades have come in handy in Halo 3 over the years when playing against a team of Master Chiefs that like to hop around like rabbits. On the flipside though stickies (plasmas) have served as the Halo version of Call of Duty’s “martyrdom” allowing people to get one off right before dying.
Goldeneye and Team Fortress 2 have their own form of stickies with remote mines and sticky bombs, but neither allows you to do what Halo does and Modern Warfare 2 will… throw stickies to the head.

In the years following, seemingly everyone had their own page on the site (including PWN or DIE) and the term “MySpace’ing” was synonymous with contacting someone online. In October of 2008 MySpace reached its peak of success in the United States with 76.3 unique monthly visitors. That was almost one year ago.

Very few casual games have had me anxiously awaiting their arrival like the 1 vs 100 beta did earlier this summer. Recently there have been tweaks and changes to improve the game, cryptic messages about prizes, and even a screen that suggests that a paid “season pass” may be part of the future.

Fans of 1980’s nostalgia may be let down a bit by the upcoming G.I. JOE The Rise of Cobra movie and how they have abandoned most of the look that we knew growing up. The video game adaption however has thrown us a retro bone today by announcing some classic unlockables that will be made available in the game. Included are concept art, character renders, and file cards of 75 different characters, weapons, and vehicles for both the G.I. JOE and COBRA forces.
