Our Blog: Major Nelson threatens an elbow drop....

on those who would use a leaked version of the New XBOX Experience.
Strangely enough, the Major didn't post this to his blog--he put it up on Twitter from his cell phone. (My phone was subscribed to the Major's Twitter updates. However, it drove me nuts after 3 days. He went on a Twitter rampage and I got tired of hearing "Message received" from my LG Rumor.)
The Major wrote:

Did you grab that torrented New Xbox Experience? Don't think you're going to get much value out of it.
Yeah, if you didn't make it into the preview, there's a leaked NXE out there (you guys have teh google, you can find it), but putting it on your machine sounds like a dumb idea that gets you nothing. First, you don't get to use Live for half of a month. Don't care? Antisocial gamer with no friends? Well, Microsoft's probably going to find out the instant you connect that you got this thing through shady channels, and ban the hell out of you from just about everything. Since a big point of the NXE is what you do online, good luck resisting that temptation forever.
I bet we haven't heard the end of this. I'm predicting that Major Nelson will soon update us on the number of the knuckleheads who tried to use the leaked version.
Look, it's only a couple weeks away. Beat GTA IV in the meantime (with a heavy dose of caffeine), sell it, and then you'll be ready for the NXE.

yea... i saw this blog and its shocking to see that after reading it, many people were still posting the download. Idiots... Majornelson is holdin it down, as should be.
