I outline the major game releases for today, all intended for you to spend your money.

Guitar Hero has more than 1 million fans on Facebook. That is alot.

Coinciding with the US launch of their this year’s iteration of their soccer series, EA Sports is starting a tour of the US to showcase the game. The tour spans 15 cities across the nation and will last for five weeks.

You would think it should have happened earlier, but FIFA 10 is the highest rated sports game ever on both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Europe does not seem to be disagreeing either, as they have already bought 1.7 million copies at retail locations in the first week and thus also making it the fastest selling sports game ever.

One of the most unique games and controllers to be seen in the industry in the form of DJ Hero is nearing distribution, and to prime this release, Activision has today taken the cover off of the game’s song list.

Let the downloading begin! With every music game released you know to expect a huge mountain of downloadable content to follow behind. With Guitar Hero 5 released last month, I was interested to see what Activision was going to offer to help spice up the all ready massive set list.

Metal Track Pack for Rock Band is on the way in North America and will be available on October 13th.

FIFA Street 3 and Virtua Fighter 3 are up on Xbox 360. The former is “$19.99″ and I have no clue what the pricing on VF3 is, since Microsoft didn’t seem to want to put the price up on it….

Beginning September 1, Guitar Hero® fans can consolidate many of their favorite songs into one place and play them with the latest Guitar Hero® 5 features.

I’m sure that ol’ Kurt would be just thrilled to hear he’s being immortalized along with Muse in Guitar Hero 5.
