In case you do not know, Activision really wants you to get Call of Duty: World at War’s Map Pack 3. They have said it once, twice, and now three times.

Treyarch and Activision announced today that COD4 is headed to the Wii . Treyarach is “porting” the game to the Wii. It will arrive on November 10th, at the same time Infinity Ward releases Modern Warfare 2.

The Map Pack 3 DLC for Call of Duty: World at War comes out on August 6th. When it does, I want to know the best sniper spots on “Battery,” “Revolution” and “Breach.” You can help me. So, I’m having a contest.

A Companion iPhone app for Call of Duty: World at War was announced today. The app is free in the iTunes store. The app includes:

* friend comparison

A few months ago, we reported on strange happenings on Call of Duty: World at War. Yesterday, Treyarch announced they are speeding up the release of a patch to thwart gamers who are “hacking their consoles.”

Earlier this week, we told you about ‘Map Pack 3′ for Call of Duty: World at War going live and included a few screenshots of the new maps. In case you have been holding out, Activision released 3 more in-game screens of the maps to tide you over.

Call of Duty: World at War is getting its third map pack next month, which will have 3 MP maps and 1 zombie map. I think Map Pack 1 was better than 2, and hopefully the third will be better than both.

The version of Call of Duty: World at War has a patch available today, so you don’t want to miss it. It includes: 3 new Multiplayer maps (Banzai, Corrosion, Sub Pens) and 1 new Zombie level (Shi No Numa).
