Codemasters announced today that the Windows version of their upcoming off-road racer Colin McRae: Dirt 2 will be powered by DirectX 11. The new version of Microsoft’s API for Windows 7 features multi-threading, hardware tessellation and Shader Model 5.0 to push games to their visual limit.
