Dallas, Texas. In a major surprise to pundits and journalists, former President George W. Bush announced today that, after his current tour as a motivational speaker, he will be competing professionally on the Major League Gaming circuit.

There is another big title to add to this list beginning in just a few short days. Monster Energy Drink has teamed up with what many consider to be the biggest title of 2009, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, to bring a not new branded drink called “Assault” to gamers. In addition to the branding on the packaging, fans will have the opportunity win prizes from COD:MW 2 and Monster.

Some of best gamers in the world are throwing down this weekend in Dallas. There’s carnage in Halo 3, Gears of War 2, and World of Warcraft.

This past May, Gears of War 2 from Epic Games reached the 5 million units mark worldwide and announced the All Fronts Collection for release today, July 28th. Alongside Epic’s release of the pack is the Dark Corners downloadable content which includes seven new multiplayer maps and the brand new ‘Road to Ruin’ campaign chapter.

G4TV and Epic Games have teamed up to give a few lucky gamers the chance to get new Gears of War 2 maps a day before anyone else and for FREE. 20 free codes for the All Fronts Collection will be given away on July 27th, before the general public can get their hands on it the following day on July 28th.

This weeks Deal of the Week is now available. The Gears of War 2: Combustible Multiplayer Map Pack, normally 800 points is now available for Xbox LIVE Gold Members for 560 points.

This map pack has only been available to those that purchased the limited edition of the best selling RTS this generation, Halo Wars, and people that Bungie deeemed worthy.
