“Greatness is Earned” with the five new titles on Xbox 360 to receive the Platinum Hits designation. Grand Theft Auto IV, Street Fighter IV, Left 4 Dead, Saint’s Row 2, and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed now fall under the Platinum Hits umbrella for being best-selling games as well as receiving critical acclaim.

Left 4 Dead 2 may be bitter sweet in some peoples minds being released only a year after Left 4 Dead. However, that does not mean that Valve has abandoned their zombie killing classic. Valve announced today that new DLC will be coming out for the Xbox 360 (560 MS Points) and PC (Free) in September.

E3 was the mixing pot for all kinds of video game news and details this year ranging from the Beatles Rock Band updates to Activision’s strongest lineup in company history. It was also a chance for game creators to have a nice sit down with different web sites and magazines.

In addition to the 24-hour free trial that just started, Left 4 Dead is now on sale at 40% off until Monday May 4th. L4D includes the recently released Survival Pack DLC, which introduces a new multiplayer game mode and two additional Versus campaigns.

The top dog on Xbox Live, with over one billion served, is Halo 3. Over a year and a half after launch, Halo 3 sits at the top of the list of most played games on Xbox Live. On April 9th Bungie and Microsoft will release the Mythic Map Pack DLC to XBL. This map pack has only been available to those that purchased the limited edition of the best selling RTS this generation, Halo Wars, and people that Bungie deeemed worthy.

The idea of taking on endless waves of the undead is fun to us and may even become useful training in the event that the zombie apocalypse ever takes place. The game Left 4 Dead takes the experience to the next level by mixing up the battlegrounds and zombies. So we had the idea of taking that game and adding it to one of our favorite zombie movies, Shaun of the Dead.
