We love the idea of video game characters being everyday people. We think it would be funny to see Soda Popinski walk into a bar, Mario actually trying to fix a pipe, or Duke Nukem being held up in traffic. Sometimes Average Joes make the best heroes, and we want to see them when they are average (but not like this).

Most video game characters have always had super powers and abilities at their disposal to help them save the day. Some used mechanical suits, heavy weapons, and even supernatural powers to combat evil. But there is a whole other collection of heroes that are just average people that get thrown into crazy situations. We have collected 14 of our favorite characters that came from humble backgrounds and end up as heroes.

The Vulcan race has identifiable traits including the pointed eyebrows, distinct ears, and the Moe haircut. It is not surprising that with modern makeup Quinto resembles the original Spock, Leonard Nimoy. What is surprising is really how similar they really look when photos are compared side by side.
