Blue Öyster Cult, Hawkwind, I Mother Earth, Motörhead, Nazareth, and Rage Against the Machine will be added to Harmonix’s music game next week.

Alice in Chains will be reprising a track pack appearance on Rock Band next week.

The Raconteurs will be gracing the Rock Band song library on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii next week, along with Alannis Morissette, the Electric Six, and The Flobots.

To celebrate their new albums this week, Harmonix and MTV Games are releasing song packs next week that feature music from the two bands. Songs from Kula Shaker and Just Kait will be added as well next week to the Rock Band’s epic Music Store.

I don’t know anything about Anvil, yet, but it doesn’t seem like they’re “easy listening” or “smooth jazz.”–not with track titles like those.

Next week Rock Band DLC vets Foo Fighters will again bring their music to EA’s music game. The Foo Fighters three-pack features “All My Life” and “Lonely As You” from the band’s Grammy Award-winning fourth album One by One, as well as “I’ll Stick Around,” from the band’s self-titled 1995 debut album.

from Evanescence, will be added to the Rock Band® Music Store of
