Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) will debut a robust slate of new titles based on some of the largest video game franchises at the 2009 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 Expo) taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 2 – 4, 2009.

Headlining the slate is Infinity Ward’s highly anticipated sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare™, Modern Warfare 2, which is expected to be one of the best-selling games of the year.

Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) has assembled an all-star cast for the upcoming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen video game, including the film’s leads Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox, who will reprise their starring roles in the game, and fan favorites Peter Cullen and Frank Welker, the voices of OPTIMUS PRIME and MEGATRON from the original animated series. In the new game, developed under license from Hasbro, players are thrust into an adrenaline-pumping battle to defend Earth from a DECEPTICON attack that threatens mankind.

Activision says: “We just wanted to let you know about two new exciting features for the eagerly anticipated Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen video game. Firstly, we’re pleased to announce a host of new playable characters, some of which will be exclusive only to multiplayer.”

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is set to bring the Autobots and Decepticons to the theaters for a second time this summer. Just like the first film, “Transformers 2″, will have a video game releasing along side of it.

Many people got their first glimpse of the upcoming film sequel to Transformers during the Super Bowl when the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen trailer was shown. Now we have information from Activision on the game adaptation of the upcoming movie. We have our first trailer and screenshots of the game below. Both feature the familiar Autobot heroes Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Ironhide as well as the Decepticons. Further information about the multi-platform game is in the release below as well.
