Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that the Watchmen: The End is Nigh videogame, based on the Watchmen film, will be offered in a retail Blu-Ray Hi-Def game and film hybrid, as well as additional retail and downloadable formats in North America.

Mash-ups rock, at least we think so. We have made many ourselves featuring President Barack Obama with Gears of War 2 and Sarah Palin in different games like GTA IV. Today we found a mashup that was cool enough to want to share. John Stewart of the hit television show on Comedy Central, The Daily Show, has been mashed up with The Comedian from the hit movie Watchmen.

This weekend fans finally have been given the film adaptation of a graphic novel that they have been waiting on for years. Much hype has been built up for Watchmen, Zack Snyder’s directorial follow up to 300. So far it has done well at the box office and has the critics split in their opinions of the film. Yesterday I had a chance to check out the movie and today I spent time with the downloadable game Watchmen: The End is Nigh.

Watchmen gets a Video Game Prequel
